Why you should read something more than once!

This week, I’ve really been focusing my time and energy on my own study, going back to one of my favorite books of all time - the book that really got me on the path of personal growth and gave me the tools to create significant transformation in my life… Think and Grow Rich.

I don’t know how many times I’ve read this book, but it’s got to be in the thousands. And every single time I read it, I emerge with new awareness.

And the reason why that happens every time - and the reason why it’ll happen for you if you engage in this study - is because every time you read something, listen to something, or study something, you yourself are doing so at another level of awareness.

Let’s take a book you’ve read before as an example. You’ve had new experiences since you last read the book; you’ve come to new conclusions about what you want in your life, your abilities, your giftedness, and what is possible for your life.

You’ve also experienced new struggles and challenges - some of which you’ve overcome and moved through, and others that could be keeping you stuck in your life.

But regardless of all of that, the fact still remains that if you are to pick up a book today that you read a week ago, a year ago, or ten years ago, you would experience it from a different perspective, and you'd learn something new.

So, if you’ve read this book, Think & Grow Rich, before, no matter how many times, or if you’ve studied it before with me or with others, let me encourage you to pick it up today, and just read one page.

I guarantee that you will come away from that with a new awareness, a new idea, and new thoughts to help you move forward in your life.

I remember back when Patrick was mentoring me through this book, back when I was in my mid-twenties. He took me through it literally page by page, line by line, word by word. He didn’t skip a single section - not a single part of the book, from the table of contents to the very last page.

And that’s important, because when you dive into personal growth and the study of human potential, there might be a programmed part of your mind that says, "Oh, I already know that. I can skip that part."

...But I’m telling you, if you do that, you’re cheating yourself out of the full experience of growth and transformation that is available for you.

Sometimes it was painful, maybe even arduous, when I was going through it with Patrick word by word. Oftentimes, I just wanted to jump ahead and get to the good stuff, the practical action steps that I needed to take to change my life - to the "secret" that would give me the answer I was working for...

I didn’t realize until later that that secret, that answer, wasn’t just one part of the book; it wasn’t just one section, one chapter, one paragraph of the book; it was only revealed in the study of every single word that Napoleon Hill wrote.

So let me say it again: if there's a part of you that thinks you’ve done this before, that you know it, and that you don’t need to revisit that book or go through this study again, don’t cheat yourself out of the process that will lead you to what it is that you desire in your life.

Let me just mention in closing that I am leading a group through the study of Think & Grow Rich, which I’ve done many, many times in the past.

But once again, this time it’s different.

There will be new perspectives gained, and higher levels of awareness reached.

I want to encourage you to take this step forward on your journey of growth, and to join me this Saturday at 9:30 AM (ET), to reach new epiphanies and to experience further growth.
