From the time we are very young, each of us is programmed with beliefs about our worth, our potential, and our identity. These beliefs form our self-image.
Our self-image is simply the image we hold of ourselves. If we view ourselves highly and in a healthy manner, we’re more likely to believe we are capable of being, doing, and having more in our lives.
And consequently, those beliefs translate into our actions. And our results.
In other words, people who have a healthy self-image end up being, doing, and having more in their lives.
On the other hand, if we have a low view of ourselves, we might think of ourselves as simply victims of our circumstances.
…And this is where it gets dangerous. I know from personal experience that what this does is hinder us from reaching our full potential. I know it was something that stopped me from being, doing, and having all that God had created me to.
Because the truth is, I had specific viruses in my programming. I was believing lies that didn’t serve me or my future. Does this sound familiar to you?
…But my journey didn’t end there. I reached a point where I had enough. I made a choice to start believing in my fully resourced self.
And here's the good news: you can too! There are ways we can renew our minds and reprogram our beliefs so we can have a healthier and more positive self-image and live a life of abundance. Because as I shared in a previous email, the #1 factor that determines our success is our self-image.
Everything I’m sharing with you in this email was discussed more in-depth last Saturday in my teaching within the Fully Resourced series. You can access it by clicking here.
…And I’m excited to share that I’ll be taking an even deeper dive into this topic this coming Saturday at 9:30am (ET) on the Empowered Living platform.
I look forward to having you join me in my next episode as we go through the Fully Resourced teaching series. I’m looking forward to helping you discover the truth of how you are fully resourced.
